Executive producer and writer Lori Braun and producer Sergeo Kirby will recount how they have created and developed new docu-drama The Prophet of Ecstasy, which charts the improbable life of Michael Clegg, the former Catholic priest who introduced MDMA to the world. They will be joined by Fifth Season acquisitions manager Simon Antoine.

Prophet Of Ecstasy, the three-part series, which was also commissioned as a feature-length single for Canada’s public broadcaster CBC, falls into what Fifth Season executive director of acquisitions Liz Tang calls the “stranger-than-fiction” category.
